Rock musicians influenced by 20th century art music?
Q. Can you think of any rock musicians and/or bands from the last thirty years or so (to the present) directly influenced by composers of the 20th century (to the present)? My mind is blank. Thanks! Well, art music is more what I mean, but 'classical', in the sense of classical and not Classical (as in the movement). So, yes, "classical" music. And for what it's worth, since I did see your first response, in the world of art music, 20th century composers IS awhile ago. Especially because many of them who caused such a deep influence were in the first 60 years. If you do not know art music well, then I am quite certain you won't be familiar with what I need for my knowledge. Thank you, though.
